I want YOUR dog to be happy, healthy and safe. This can be achieved with good leadership to develop a trusted caring relationship and understanding how to meet your dogs needs so that can learn.
Confident Leadership Principles
These are the key areas all dog owners need to focus on to achieve a harmonious relationship with their dog…
On Your Terms - Clear and effective communication, setting the expectations, boundaries and building trust. Inside and Outside - The walk begins at home!
Food - You are the resource manager - meet your dogs‘ basic needs by providing appropriate, energy rich food and create a strong value associated to you.
Safety - To take care of your dogs physical and emotional safety. Responsible dog ownership - lifestyle and well being.
Access and Alone time - We all need peace. Be aware of attention seeking behaviour or over dependence that can lead to anxiety in your dog. Manage the space.
Limits - Know your limits and your dogs. Training doesn’t need to be hard. Know when it’s not a good time for training and that’s ok.
